Planning to visit Dupcheshwar Mahadev Temple? Here are the complete Darshan timings, Aarti schedule, and Puja guide based on my visits to the temple twice a week. Because I am a member of Aarti.
Dupcheshwor Mahadev Darshan Timings
The temple is open every day. Here are the regular opening and closing times:
Every day at 6 am, 6 pm
The timings may vary during major festivals (Shivratri, Teej, Dhanya Purnima). It is open on those days according to the influx of devotees.
Aarti Schedule at Dupcheshwor Mahadev
Ganga Aarti is performed twice a week at Dupcheshwar Mahadev. Aarti is considered a favorite worship of Lord Shiva. This Aarti has been going on continuously since the 7th of the first Monday of the month of Shravan in the year 2080.
If you also want to have your resolution in the aarti, you can contact us by phone and write your name. You can also sponsor the program by contacting the Aarti management coordinator at 9841234269.
The noon aarti will be held on Saturday at 12:00 PM, and the evening (Ganga aarti) Aarti will be held on Monday at 5 PM
Puja & Offering Details
If you are coming to the temple, then as the main offering, cow’s milk (most common), water, flowers, bel leaves, fruits, basra, etc. can be offered, but saffron are not allowed here.
Special Puja: If you want to do special puja, you can request Rudrabhishek from the temple priest by requesting time
Puja cost: Free (voluntary dakshina is accepted)
Materials: You can bring the puja materials yourself from home, but even if you come empty-handed, you can easily buy them from the flower prasad shop near the parking area. You will be able to offer the flower prasad you have brought to the temple yourself.
Best Time to Visit (Avoiding Crowds)
If you want to avoid crowds and have darshan, then Tuesday to Friday is the best time to plan your trip. There will be no hassle of waiting in long lines during this time.
Heavy crowd for darshan: Saturday and Monday (Aarti days) These days there is a large crowd of people who come to see the darshan. You have to wait in long lines for about 3/4 of an hour. I think this time may not be suitable for the elderly and children.
Weekly Visit Experience (May 2026)
I visit Dupcheshwar Mahadev twice a week. Because I am a member of Aarti. It is very crowded on these days. If you want to have a quiet darshan, you can visit on any other day.
