There is no best time to visit Dupcheshwor Mahadev; there is no problem in going at your convenient time. The road condition remains the same throughout the year.
Generally, except for some unusual circumstances during the rainy season, there is no problem at other times. Since I myself am an Aarti member, I also go every Monday and Saturday from a distance of about 8 kilometers.

January – February (winter): It is a cold month; it is generally cold but not to the point of snow. The morning and evening temperatures are 5 to 7 degrees, while the daytime temperatures are 15 to 20 degrees. You should travel accordingly and prepare yourself.
March – April (spring): Chaitra and Baisakh are generally dry, but the sun, which flows nearby, keeps guard, so there is no problem. You can even swim safely.
May – June (pre-monsoon): Although the temperature increases slightly, it is not too hot at all, as the temperature remains around 25 to 32/35 degrees, so there is no need to worry.
July-August (monsoon): Since this time is completely rainy, special precautions should be taken while traveling by road, but the road to get here is not that dangerous.
September – October (post-monsoon): This time after the rains is definitely a green and beautiful time. Those who come here will definitely get to enjoy the unique flavor of the local natural environment, etc. I think this is the right time to capture your journey on camera and make it come alive.
November – December (Autumn/Winter): Due to the beginning of the winter months and festivals, there is a large crowd of tourists during this time. The temperature remains normal.
Best Day of the Week to Visit
- Tuesday – Friday (whole day): Least crowded. You will get peaceful darshan and can take your time.
- Saturday & Monday: Aarti days. More devotees, but a beautiful spiritual atmosphere.
- During major festivals: high crowds.
